- How did you get this job?
In the middle of my third year of the bachelor program, I received a message from the school mentioning that SMV was looking for engineers. After some research and seeing the exciting projects, the company was involved in, it didn't take long before I decided to apply. By February, three months after sending my application, the contract was signed.
- Why was this job interesting to you? The most important thing for me in a workplace is the opportunity for professional development. At SMV, you get the chance to do this in many different fields.
- What does your job entail?
My work primarily involves programming and designing electrohydraulic systems, plus service and customer support.
- Why did you choose to work and settle in Sunnhordland? I thought it over because I have a group of friends here, the place is peaceful, plus you have the city and HVL (Western Norway University of Applied Sciences) nearby.
- What is especially good about living here besides the job? Even though the place is quiet, there is always something interesting happening in the area.
- What are your tips for others considering moving to Sunnhordland? In Sunnhordland, there are lots of different events, clubs, and companies. Just find something that suits you!
